My name is Veronica and I am founder and owner of Pups n Pals Pet Care as well as a pet parent to two German Shepherds, a Thoroughbred and a Cockateil. Since I was a child it had been a dream of mine to make a career out of working with animals. After a successful, yet unfulfilled, 11 years of working in the financial industry and pet sitting on the side, I decided to take my lifelong dream to the next level. I began by taking courses in animal behavior, communication, health, training and care. I also became certified in pet first aid and CPR, as well as a certified dog trainer. Feeling confident with my level of education along with my many years of personal ownership experience, I decided I was ready to go full time and in early 2006, I left finance and launched Pups n Pals. Today I continue to take any opportunity to expand my knowledge of animals with courses, books and daily experiences as well as volunteer with the local dog and equine rescues.
Having a good relationship with each client is very important to me. I enjoy building relationships and keeping in close contact with all clients to make sure all their pet care needs are being taken care of. I meet personally with each potential client before services begin to fill out all paperwork, answer all their questions and address any concerns they may have. I stay involved with each client, regardless of whether I am their regular care taker or one of the other pet care associates are. I make it a point to see each animal regularly. Each associate keeps me updated on a daily basis on what happens during their visit that day. This keeps me current on each client's particular situation. If it happens that I do not personally see your pet each day, you can be assured I am up to date on any new happenings and am always available for each client to answer any questions and help in any way I can.
