Veronica
My name is Veronica and I am founder and owner of Pups n Pals Pet Care. Since I was a kid it had been a dream of mine to make a career out of working with animals. After a successful yet unfulfilling 11 years of working in the financial industry and pet sitting on the side I decided to take my lifelong dream to the next level. I began by taking courses in animal behavior, communication, health, training and care. I also became certified in pet first aid and cpr as well as a certified dog trainer. Feeling confident with my level of education along with my many years of personal ownership experience I decided I was ready to go full time with my new career. In early 2006 I left finance and launched Pups n Pals making my dream a reality. Today I continue take any opportunity to expand my knowledge of animals and currently I am in school for my certificate in grooming. I also volunteer with the German Shepherd Rescue of New England and the Labrador Retriever Rescue Inc. All of this along with my own experiences as a pet parent to a German Shepherd, Lab and cockatiel keep me at the top of my game.
Having a good relationship with each client is very important to me. I enjoy building relationships and keeping in close contact with all clients to make sure all their pet care needs are being taken care of. I meet personally with each potential client before services begin to fill out all paperwork, answer all their questions and address any concerns they may have. I stay very much involved with each client regardless if I am their regular care taker or if one of the other pet care associates are. Each associate keeps me updated on a daily basis on what happened during their visit that day so I am always current on each client's particular situation. So if it happens that I do not personally see your pet each day you can be assured I am up to date on any new happenings with them and am always available to each client to answer any questions and help in any way I can.
